Solving Single- and Multi-Objective Optimal Reactive Power Dispatch Problems Using an Improved Salp Swarm Algorithm

چکیده

The optimal reactive power dispatch (ORPD) problem represents a fundamental concern in the efficient and reliable operation of systems, based on proper coordination numerous devices. Therefore, ORPD calculation is an elaborate nonlinear optimization that requires highly performing computational algorithms to identify solution. In this paper, potential metaheuristic methods explored for solving complex problems specific systems. regard, improved salp swarm algorithm proposed solve IEEE-14 IEEE-30 bus by approaching planning as both single- multi- objective aiming at minimizing real losses voltage deviations. Multiple comparison studies are conducted obtained results assess approach performance with respect other state-of-the-art techniques. all cases, demonstrate developed method reflect its effectiveness challenging problems.
